The Challenge

FlipLok needed a credible Shopify experience to convert skeptical buyers on a high-trust safety product. Safety hardware purchases carry a higher skepticism threshold than lifestyle purchases — buyers need to believe the product actually works before they'll spend money on it. The existing storefront wasn't answering the compatibility question (will it fit my door?), wasn't demonstrating efficacy (how strong is it?), and wasn't capturing the bulk-buyer segment that represented their highest-AOV opportunity. Social media was generating significant traffic from news coverage, but that traffic wasn't converting at a rate that reflected the genuine demand.

Our Solution

We built a conversion-focused Shopify store with educational content, demo videos, and volume-discount flows. The page architecture was rebuilt around the buyer's objections in the order they arise: compatibility first (a door-type selector tool), efficacy second (embedded demo videos showing the device under forced-entry simulation), and social proof third (testimonials segmented by buyer type — homeowner, hotel, university). Volume pricing tiers were displayed on the PDP rather than at checkout, capturing bulk buyers who would have otherwise left to request a quote.
